Spiderman Celebrates Prince-Style

Happy Friday! Happy Birthday, Jielsen!
My nephew turned 8 today! My, how time flies. I can still remember him puckering his lips like a pig, playing Candyland with him, and teaching him how to say the word a/ni/mal - saying it slowly by syllable and he would repeat after me slowly and by syllable as well..but when it came to saying the complete word he would say “amamal”.
He was a Thomas the Train lover, a Diego fan, a current Lego and Star Wars fanatic, and now he is caught in the web of anything Spiderman. So, of course, for this 8th birthday his wish was his parents’ command...Spiderman invitation, balloons, cake, party favors, but celebrated his way - the prince way. My sister found a really neat place in Orange County called Little Prince Kids Cafe at Buena Park, CA. It’s concept is kind of like ChuckECheese’s, where kids can be let loose to play and the parents can enjoy the food. They set up the place and you bring yourself, the guests, and most importantly, the kids!
Here are some pictures from the party.

One of the playrooms - a mini library.

Thanks for a wonderful time, Jielsen! Happy birthday!

Days Away From Valentine's...

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. If you are looking for creative, unique and fun ideas for your special someone (husband, boyfriend, wife, girlfriend, daughter, mother, you name it), well you’ve come to the right place. I’ve done the research, now go do the project. But, if you need any help in that department, well you can always send me a message. I'll be trying some of these out myself.

Here are a few that I found charming that involves paper…
