For their wedding, my friend's daughter Johanna and her husband Erik wanted Spring-themed invitations. The petal card design, along with the floral sash, were perfect to convey just that.
The couple had a little bit of a hard time picking out colors due to the endless possibilities. But as you can see, the final color choices blended well together. The paleness of the purple and the darkness of the brown complemented each other well. Finding the right balance between the vibrant colors of the season and the formality of the event was key.
The body of the invitation - which contained necessary information about the wedding party, RSVP instructions, gift request, map and directions - are on "accordion-style" pages in the interior of the invitation. Though pockets and cards have their own charm, I think "accordion-style" paging are a level up in organization. No loose paper cards to misplace means no lost information for the guests. Johanna and Erik agreed.
The invitations were printed on and made out of shiny metallic and textured linen papers. Not only do they look great, but the linen paper also felt great to touch.
All packed and ready to ship. I'm really proud of these, and made sure they are all neatly packaged for delivery. I hope the invitees will be happy when they receive their invite because each one was made with love :).
